GY-GPS 6M V2 (V12 is the version number) is a high performance GPS positioning module. The module uses U-BLOX NEO-6M module, the module comes with a high-performance passive ceramic antenna (no need to buy expensive active antenna up), and comes with a rechargeable backup battery (to support warm start or hot start, reserve battery after the main power off, the GPS receiver can maintain data saved about half an hour).

Module connected via serial port and external systems, serial port baud rate: 4800, 9600, 38400 (default) at different rates, 57600, etc., compatible 5V / 3.3V microcontroller system, can be very convenient to connect with your product. Set parameters via serial port, and can be saved into the EEPROM. With backup rechargeable battery, battery can last about half hour after the power is shut down. you can keep the calendar data.
