The 6AN Male port fit all oil cooler / fuel tank / fuel pump / fluid Line. The fitting has 37-degree 'AN' sealing angle design and another ORB port design assures leak free performance. ORB adapter uses a male fitting with an o-ring to seal in a female port with an angled section where the o-ring seats. O-ring boss adapter has a straight thread and therefore do not damage the mating part. This fitting seals by the o-ring and the only thing it really needs is a little bit of lubrication on the o-ring, petroleum jelly or some sort of petroleum product such like oil. This design makes the fitting reusable. Easy to install. Apply a bit of petroleum jelly to o-ring before installation. When installing straight ORB-6 fitting, screw fitting into mating part until preformed packing is fully seated in mating packing seat. Tighten fitting until snug. Check ORB fitting for leakage during system start up. If leaking, loosen connecting tube or hose and tighten ORB fitting. Re-tighten tube or hose. The ORB fittings are made of high-quality aluminum alloy material for strong strength. Anodized and hand polished finish add the final touch of quality and protection. Black anodized for great appearance and anti-corrosion, superior thread strength.
